Joy of Sport Kids Athletic Development Camp
Discover the joy of sport at LFG Labs, Calgary’s world-class facility equipped with state-of-the-art training areas, gyms, and outdoor spaces, guided by world-class trainers dedicated to fostering young athletes. Our Joy of Sport Kids Athletic Development Camp is for enthusiastic kids (ages 8-14) eager to build skills, confidence, and a lifelong love for movement through a fun, inclusive approach drawing inspiration from successful global youth sports systems, including Norway’s “Norwegian Model.” We offer a one-of-a-kind experience with themed elements to keep things fresh and exciting each session.
Why this approach?
By incorporating elements like “idrettsglede” (the joy of sport), we emphasize enjoyment, multi-sport exposure, and participation to help kids stay active for life. Adapted to celebrate Canada’s vibrant sports culture—from hockey heroes to Olympic triumphs—this method supports resilient young athletes who thrive in any activity, backed by research showing benefits like lower dropout rates and reduced burnout.
Two sessions in summer 2026—July 13-17 and August 17-21. Full-day format (Monday-Friday, 9 AM-3 PM). Cost: $350/week (includes snacks and basic gear). Limited spots—register early!
